Bilzig
Bilzig naît d’un projet de recherche de Jeanne Saliou qui s’intéresse à la place de la typographie dans un contexte de préservation et valorisation des langues brittoniques. L’ambition est d’offrir aux utilisateurs·rices un caractère répondant aux besoins linguistiques du breton (mais aussi du gallo, gallois, français et toutes langues européennes) et à en favoriser le confort en lecture longue. Bilzig intégre les mutations consonantiques de la langue bretonne et prend en compte les enjeux contemporains de l’écriture inclusive pour le français et le breton. Vive le Bilzig!

Bilzig
Bilzig was born out of a research project by Jeanne Saliou focusing on the role of typography in the preservation and promotion of Brittonic languages. The aim is to offer users a font that meets the linguistic needs of Breton (as well as Galo, Welsh, French and all European languages) and to improve reading comfort for long texts. Bilzig incorporates the consonant changes of the Breton language and takes into account contemporary issues of inclusive writing for French and Breton. Vive le Bilzig !
